VISION STATEMENT:
"HLC will be recognized nationally as the forerunner in the field of adult literacy. HLC will be known nationally for being a nonprofit organization that assists certain members of the adult community in becoming functional in society through the promotion of innovative literacy programs. HLC will also be known for being responsive to changes in the needs of its stakeholders. Other adult literacy organizations throughout the nation will look at HLC as a model for their own programs and efforts."
